Fresh vegetables harvested on a local farm
Our story

Grown from a simple belief

That eating well shouldn't mean choosing between your health, your community, and the planet. Plate Greened was born at the intersection of all three.

Our mission

Nourish people. Support farmers. Protect the land.

We started Plate Greened because we were frustrated. Frustrated by meal kits that shipped ingredients from across the country. Frustrated by "healthy" options that were anything but. Frustrated by how disconnected our food had become from the land it grew on.

So we built something different. Every meal we prepare is sourced within 100 miles, crafted by chefs who care, and designed by nutritionists who know that real food is the best medicine. We believe the shortest distance between farm and fork is the best one.

What we stand for

Our sustainability values

Seasonal & local first

We build every menu around what's in season within our region. No air-freighted produce, no out-of-season shortcuts — just the best of what's growing nearby.

Zero-waste packaging

All our packaging is compostable or reusable. Our delivery containers are returned, sanitized, and sent back out — keeping plastic out of landfills.

Regenerative farming

We partner exclusively with farms that practice regenerative agriculture — building soil health, sequestering carbon, and restoring biodiversity.

Fair farmer partnerships

We pay above-market rates and commit to multi-season contracts so our farm partners can plan, invest, and grow sustainably.

Our farm partners

The hands behind your meals

We work with 12 farms across the region, each chosen for their commitment to sustainable, regenerative practices.
